Response to Art's Comment on my Last Entry.
Here in Canada you need to get a special licence to own a gun and in order to get that licence you need to attend a firearms safety course and pass the tests, show ID and go through security checks. You also have to provide information about your spouse or conjugal partners.
Have you ever had one of those days when you think you'd be better off if you just never got out of bed? That's me today!
When last I sat down before my computer and typed my entry everything was great, fuzzy and peachy and all that crap.
But that all ended the moment I was getting something out of the kitchen cupboard (the one under the sink) and ended up crashing my head into the counter as I stood up. Do not ask me how this was accomplished because I still do not know.
All I do know is that my head still pangs with pain.
Next, I was getting ready to head out and do some errands when I fell down the stairs, the same stairs that I fell down on Boxing Day (of course it's the same stairs, I only have one set in my house!) I twisted my knee and it's killing me.
But that's not the end of it. I took the dog out for a walk because that's what you have to do when you own a dog, at least if you have a dog that doesn't know how to use a toilet yet.
So I'm out walking the dog, I'm limping along and somehow I manage to slip on some rocks. These were rocks that I hadn't seen, I never noticed them strewn across the cracked ashphalt, and as a result my knee (the same one that I twisted as I fell down the stairs) came crashing down onto the pile of rocks that I had just slipped on.
Oh what joy, what fun! So now my head is sending pangs of pain to my brain, my knee is throbbing with agony and now it's also cut up and it's hurting so much I think I'd like to ask a doctor to remove my leg for me.
Oh and let me tell you the best part of all of this. The best part is attempting to walk a pulling, running, jumping and basically crazy dog while you limp along in agony and every new step is a new sensation of torture.
What a lovely day so far.
And just so you know, my knee is shredded, twice it's size and the color purple describes it to a tee. Isn't it nice to be me?
