LB was up all night. I put him to bed around 9, everything was good and
quite. Around 10:30 I decided to creep to bed, because I'd been up since 3
and because I'd worked my behind off most of the day.
At 12:30 Hubby comes and wakes me up. LB is up and Hubby can't get him to
calm down. So I get up, give LB a bottle and sit on the sofa holding him
and trying to get him to calm down. No dice.
Around 3 Hubby comes over and takes a shift. He sends me to bed. I
sleep.
At 6 I get up and take over, letting Hubby go upstairs and catch some sleep.
At 10:30 Hubby comes back down and sends me back upstairs. I just got up
now.
Through all of this LB has been awake, he's been upset. He's been happy, he's been screaming and he's been laughing. What a little monster.
And now I need to clean up my house. It's kind of messy and it really needs a good cleaning. Not to mention I really need to do laundry. During the night LB spit up on most of my shirts. So unless I want to walk around topless I need to wash some shirts for me. Yay.
I don't know about elsewhere in the world, but here in Canada all we are
hearing about in the media is about Wayne Gretsky and this gambling scandal.
The media over in Italy are asking the Olympic athletes what they think about
the scandal, here are these amateur athletes over at the Olympics. They
are about to represent their country in a sport that they've been practicing and
honing for most of their lives. This is supposed to be their big shining
moment, and all the media cares about is if they think Gretsky was involved in
this betting thing. And do they think he should be heading the Canadian
Olympic team?
I'm so sick of hearing about this. Are they just searching and hunting for
a scandal like the figure skating one of last time? Seems to me that they
are.
Oh well now I have to go, my Hubby is standing in the kitchen telling me to come
and see him because he is utterly and truly amazed and I guess he wants to share
that with me. Yippee!
Edit: The reason that Hubby was utterly and truly amazed is because he bought me a Coffee Crisp last night and never got around to eating it. That never happens, so it's kind of put him into shock.
